A federal judge in Florida agreed to delay Donald Trump’s deposition in his $500 million lawsuit against Michael Cohen by a week because the former president said he wants to attend the start of his New York state civil fraud trial.
US Magistrate Judge Edwin Torres in Miami on Friday moved the long-scheduled deposition to Oct. 9 from Oct. 3, while chastising Trump for agreeing to the earlier date despite knowing the schedule for the New York trial for months.
