SAO PAULO Brazilian pork and poultry processor BRF SA on Monday reported a 262 million real ($53.37 million) net loss in the third quarter, slightly better than an LSEG consensus forecast of a 279 million real loss for the period.
The company said in a filing that earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization, a measure of operating income known as EBITDA, was 1.2 billion reais ($244.45 million), was slightly above LSEG consensus estimates of 1.17 billion reais.
